According with the ancient Ladin and Tyrolean traditions, for the festivity of St. Nicholas at the beginning of December the "Krampus" (devils) will parade in the center of the villages, and also around Rifugio Averau.
It will also be the occasion to explain this ancient and obscure tradition that has been part of our local folklore for more than 500 years.
Event in collaboration with "Hydentaler Krampus", group of Cortina d'Ampezzo who will perform around the Rifugio from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of January,: Astronomitaly
From the collaboration with Astronomitaly this evenings is born with aperitifs, dinner and stars.
Thanks to the proximity to the sky and the total absence of artificial lights, it will be possible to observe the celestial stars immersed in the silence of the snow-capped Dolomites with the help of two professional telescopes.
A different, unique and exciting experience suitable for all ages!
All the participants will live a real journey in space guided by two expert astrologers who will illustrate the wonders of the stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae ... and then the Moon!
Saturday lunchtime there will be the observation of the sun with the solar telescope.

Paola, head cef of Averau, and Fabio, chef of the restaurant "Al Camin" of Cortina d'Ampezzo, will offer you a menu based on fish.
The courses will range from sea fish to lagoon fish and freshwater mountain fish
8th of March: Woman's day
For the women's day we propose a reinterpretation of one of the most symbolic dishes of the Ampezzo valley. "Casunziei", typical ravioli of red turnips, "Cuderàe" (local aromatic white turnip), parmesan, poppy seeds and melted butter. On March 8th, an harpist will perform from 12:30 to 15:00 with her Celtic harp.
